HUWA, Egyptian fine accessories brand bydesigner Hisham Wali, launches its latest FW collection entitled ‘Kings and Crowns’.
This royally inspired collection is a manifestation of the historic elegance related to the majestic era of grand power. The collection features a series of the brand’s signature lapel pins and cufflinks among other accessories such as bracelets and cigarholders, each inspired by a different era of royalty. Each creation is made of sterling silver and brass, either plated in gold or platinum and embellished with precious and semi-precious stones.
Set to shed a light on the royal spirit in each one of its wearers, the collections pieces include majestic elements of all kinds from crowns to weaponry and iconic mythical symbols
The idea of this collection came to designer Hisham Wali after paying a visit to the state-of-art galleries hosed by the V&A museum of London. He likes to consider this collection your moment of nobility. Every piece in the collection will add sophistication and take your outfit from regular to royal.
Wali is Egyptian by blood but was born in Kuwait, grew up in Saudi Arabia. He pursued his bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication in Richmond University, London, England. Wali then pursued his master’s degree in International Marketing and Management at Westminster University.
The designer now resides in Cairo, Egypt where he has decided to establish his brand, after years of personal love for pins and cufflinks and overall passion for elegant menswear. Wali believes he may be paving the way for aspiring male designers to make their mark in Egyptian fashion.
