MIPDOC Project Pitch 2023, an event where documentary and factual producers pitch their developments to international decision-makers live on stage in Cannes, has announced its jury and moderator, including Caroline Behar, Jack Oliver, and Kristina Hollstein as jurors and CecilIe Olsen as the moderator. The event will take place on 17 April, and the deadline for entries is 9 March 2023. The jury is looking for projects' innovation, strength of subject, and potential universal appeal. The MIPDOC International Documentary & Factual Co-Production Market is held within the MIPTV Spring International Content and Co-production Market in Cannes. The event also features genre-focused strands for Formats, Drama, and Kids. The MIPDOC Project Pitch shortlists five finalists, and one winning concept will be selected live. The event drew a record 111 submissions from 27 countries in 2022.
