There’s always a sense of excitement when a luxury carmaker implements its new brand identity to its dealerships. And this holds true equally for enthusiasts and buyers. Emirates Motor Company (EMC), the authorised distributor for Mercedes-Benz in Abu Dhabi, has done just that. It has opened doors to a thoroughly revamped showroom located on Airport Road in the UAE’s capital.
The showroom in question is EMC’s flagship outlet. It promises an enhanced customer-centric retail experience by transitioning from a traditional retail process into one that relies on a multi-dimensional network. Some highlights include a new service flow, full use of multimedia and retail systems, and more flexible specifications.
Dive a bit deeper into the changes, and the revamped showroom offers semi-private areas for discussions and dedicated spaces with customisable digital displays for customers to spec up and finalise their orders. Besides those, there are four individual zones where buyers will receive their personalised handover of cars.
Matthias Lührs, Head of Overseas Region, Mercedes-Benz Cars, was at the inauguration event. He said:
“We are focused on integrating new digital technologies and redefining the full range of services offered by making them more personalised to our customer's needs and preferences, and making the experience of purchasing and owning a Mercedes-Benz to the next level.”
Lührs met with Ahmed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, the Chairman of Al Fahim Group and the EMC Management. He added:
“Our new showroom is now more relaxing and engaging than ever before, providing the warmth, comfort, and premium standards of service and attention that you may more usually find in a first-class lounge.”
The revamping process of the showroom started in Q3 of 2021. The first phase, the main showroom area, is now complete. In the second phase, the redevelopment work will conceive a bespoke and focused Mercedes-AMG zone. That task is underway and should be completed sometime in Q1 of 2022.
