Back in 1952, when New York’s American-Scandinavian Foundation was preparing to move to a new office, the group enlisted Danish mid-century modern master Arne Jacobsen to envision their desks. While only a few were commissioned back then, the classic design has now been reissued by Carl Hansen & Søn. 
The desk’s tubular steel frame gives it an airy profile, while its leather-topped writing surface and wood shelving add distinguished character. An integrated, slightly oversized conical stainless steel lamp illuminates whatever you’re working on in complementary style.
